I’m inspired by the “related posts” and programmed a tag system for each image.  I hope it’s easy to understand. You can now add the tags under manage gallery (see picture). I must program some automatic adding of tags, when you upload a bunch of files via FTP or ZIP… 

new-settings.jpg What I now really like, is the new option “Append related images at each post“. Beginning from WordPress 2.3 edit-tags.jpg  you only need to enter tags in your post and NextGEN Gallery will add related images with the same tags (or categories).As you can see in this post I added the tags “cologne, wordpress” and below this post you can see the related images…
